It is squirrel nut-gathering season here in Tennessee. One of the ways I know that is because we went to change the oil in our truck, and the mechanic came in from the garage laughing. It seems that one of the squirrels thought that the engine of the truck would be a good place to hide it's nuts for the winter. We had to dig out over 100 acorns!
